We packed up Monday morning and headed south to Albuquerque, NM, taking a little side trip about half way to visit Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National
Monument. We hiked the trails a couple
hours enjoying these incredible rock formations.
We checked into the campground at Kirtland
AFB early afternoon and after setting up camp we went to get Lorraine's Military ID renewed. Then we drove though Old Town Albuquerque
on Central St/Route 66. We had dinner at the Route 66 Diner and went
back to camp to do laundry.
